A resident of Redding, Connecticut, David G. Bohn serves as president and CEO of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation in Danbury, CT. His company is an industry leader in the fabrication and engineering of industrial boilers and burners, including fuel oil systems that enable power generation at facilities such as hospitals, data centers, and nuclear power plants. As president, David G. Bohn has organizes the company into regional sales offices across the United States in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma and California.
Over the past 18 years, Mr. Bohn has led organic growth through sustained product development and marketing innovation. He also spearheaded an acquisitions process that included the purchase of GN Electronics and its flame safeguard component and system capacities in 2007. In addition to designing and building new combustion control systems, Mr. Bohn’s factory-trained field engineering team has extensive experience in maintaining and calibrating currently installed burner and control systems.
Outside of work, David G. Bohn is closely involved in local community activities. He contributes to the Boy Scouts of America’s Connecticut Yankee Council and volunteers with the Children's Educational Opportunity Foundation of Connecticut in Hartford.
